Less descaling - less pressure on espresso machine tubes, valves, pumps, gaskets and all other internal parts. It preserves expensive equipment and improves the taste and smell of the water. This pad provides the easiest and most efficient solution for top quality water. Easy to use - no instalation needed. DIRECTIONS: As soon as you unpack it, give it a quick rinse under the tap and place it directly on the bottom of the water tank in your coffee machine. With the tank full it takes 8-10 hours for filter to treat the water. For best results carry out the optimisation over night so that there is sufficient water available for coffee the following day. Change the limescale protection pad as soon as the maxi mum number of units (number of tank refills) have been reached. The pad should not be left in the tank for longer than two months, at which point it should be exchanged for a new one. Simply dispose of your used limescale protection pads in the waste.
