• HOJICHA ROASTED GREEN TEA – A one-of-a-kind type of Japanese tea, this roasted green tea hojicha stands apart from other traditional green teas. We proudly collaborate with local tea masters and a historic tea plantation that has been carefully preserved by passionate farmers for over 350 years, dating back to the Genroku era.
• ORIGINS OF HOJICHA TEA – In the Meiji period, a tea merchant began experimenting to make use of leftover parts of the tea plant. By roasting the leaves, stems, and twigs over charcoal, hojicha loose leaf tea was born.
