Ken Cook, longtime president of Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, searched for the highest quality vanilla and uncovered R.R. Lochhead's 100-year family legacy in Paso Robles, California. Cook’s Vanilla represents our drive to produce the finest vanilla extracts. Only ten percent of the world’s vanilla beans are picked when perfectly mature. We harvest the fully vine-ripened beans and cure them ourselves to assure a delicate, intense, beautiful vanilla. Through our cold extraction, we have captured this exotic essence in a bottle.
